"Father forgive them for they know not what they do" (Luke 23:34). If they had known that Jesus Christ was the Messiah, would they have crucified Him? "Woman here is your son. Son here is your mother" (John 19:26). Jesus a dutiful son cares for his mother, even while he is in agony. He gives us his Mother–a gift to the church. Facilitated by Fr.
